A wind that passeth away

But he, being full of compassion, forgave their iniquity, and destroyed them not:
Yea, many a time turned he his anger away, and did not stir up all his wrath.

For he remembered that they were but flesh;
A wind that passeth away, and cometh not again.
(Psalms 78:38-39)

I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men;for kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.

For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour;who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time.

(I Timothy 2:1-6)

Somethings are just hard to capture, such as the subtlety of light clouds at sunset. Not so difficult are the bloom of the empress tree behind our shop.
